Author Guidelines
Authors who intend to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Management, Economics, and Accounting Research (JoMEAR) are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal template and editorial standards. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or proceeding.
General Requirements
- The manuscript must be written in clear and academic English.
- The manuscript must follow the official JoMEAR template.
- The submission should present original research findings, conceptual analysis, or empirical studies relevant to management, economics, and accounting.
- The manuscript must not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or unethical research practices.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.
Manuscript Formatting
- Paper size: A4.
- Layout: single-column format.
- Margins: top 4 cm, left 4 cm, bottom 3 cm, and right 3 cm.
- Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt.
- Line spacing: single.
- The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word format.
- Authors are expected to follow the journal template and keep the manuscript concise in accordance with the prescribed page format.
Title and Author Information
- The title must be concise, informative, and reflect the substance of the manuscript.
- The title should use initial capital letters and be written clearly in the format provided by the journal template.
- The manuscript may include a maximum of five authors.
- Each author’s full name, institutional affiliation, city, country, and email address must be provided.
- The corresponding author must be clearly indicated.
Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should briefly describe the purpose of the study, the problem addressed, the method used, and the main findings or proposed solution. The abstract must be written in one paragraph, be clear and informative, and contain approximately 150–230 words.
Authors should provide relevant keywords that represent the main topics of the manuscript.
Manuscript Structure
Authors are encouraged to organize the manuscript using the following structure:
- Introduction
This section should explain the background of the study, the research problem, the proposed solution or research objective, and relevant previous studies. - Research Methods
This section should describe the research design, stages, procedures, data sources, instruments, or analytical methods used in the study. - Analysis and Discussion
This section should present the findings, analysis, interpretation, and discussion of the results in relation to theory and previous research. - Implementation / Testing
If applicable, this section may explain implementation results, testing scenarios, evaluation metrics, and the practical performance of the proposed model or system. - Conclusion
This section should provide a concise conclusion that answers the research questions or objectives and may include suggestions for future research.
Tables, Figures, and Formulas
- All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and referred to in the text.
- Table titles should be placed above the table.
- Figure captions should be placed below the figure.
- Tables should be presented clearly and preferably without unnecessary vertical lines.
- Figures must be of high quality and positioned appropriately in line with the relevant text.
- Mathematical formulas should be created using the Formula Editor in Microsoft Word and numbered sequentially.
Headings and Numbering
- Main section headings should be written in uppercase and bold format as provided in the template.
- Subsections may use hierarchical numbering consistently.
- For lists, authors should apply consistent numbering styles, including alphabetical or numerical lists where appropriate.
Citation and References
- All in-text citations must use the IEEE citation style, indicated by sequential numbering in square brackets, for example: [1], [2], [3].
- Authors are required to use a reference management tool such as Mendeley, Mendeley Cite, or EndNote.
- All references listed in the bibliography must be cited in the body of the manuscript.
- The manuscript must contain a minimum of 15 references.
- At least 80% of the references should come from journal articles published within the last 5 years.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to include the DOI for each reference whenever available.
Additional Notes
- Foreign terms should be written in italics where appropriate.
- Authors must remove any instructional notes, comments, or highlighted template text before submission.
- Submitted manuscripts should fully conform to the journal template before entering the review process.
