Archiving Policy
Digital Preservation and Long-Term Accessibility

Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam (JURPAI) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content through trusted digital archiving systems and preservation services.

LOCKSS Preservation System
JURPAI participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program, a distributed preservation system that allows participating libraries to collect, preserve, and maintain permanent archives of journal content. Through the LOCKSS network, multiple copies of published articles are stored across independent institutions, ensuring content remains accessible even in the event of system failures or data loss.
CLOCKSS Preservation System
The journal also supports CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), a community-governed archive developed by publishers and libraries worldwide. CLOCKSS ensures that scholarly content remains permanently preserved and can be restored if the original source becomes unavailable.
Benefits of Digital Preservation
  • Long-term preservation of scholarly content.
  • Protection against accidental data loss.
  • Permanent access to published research.
  • Reliable restoration of journal content when required.
  • Support for sustainable scholarly communication.
  • Enhanced trust and credibility for authors and readers.
